Travel. It is included across the whole area, with no surcharge and whatever the town. The published price is the final price. Your town's drive time is written on its own page, and it is the median of 3 independent route calculators, not our estimate.
The set up visit, the check-in inventory and the initial photo file are free. You only pay from the first visit onwards.
Bespoke starts at 6 visits a month, and its price is written down too. Example: a 400 m² villa in Villajoyosa, pool and garden, 8 visits a month, €590 all in. Garden add-on: beyond the check included in the plan, the drip lines, the timer and the watering times are checked and adjusted on every visit. +€35 a month on Essential and Serenity, included in Complete.
Pool check: on every visit the water level is read and topped up if needed, the pH is measured and photographed, and the pump, the filtration and the plant room are checked. These are points 28 to 31 of the 38. Whatever else your pool needs, if anything, is looked at during the check visit.
The 38 point check is included in every plan and does not eat into the time set aside for repairs. The 30 minutes, 2 hours or 5 hours of labour shown go entirely on repairs and small jobs.

Domivaro is a different job: 38 points checked on every visit, labour included, the report the same evening, and the insurance that covers all of it. A price only compares like for like. Why compare the services, not just the prices?
Not every offer includes the same things. Some mostly provide key holding or a check visit. At Domivaro, every visit includes 38 points checked, photos, a report and, depending on the plan, labour time for certain small jobs. Comparing prices also means comparing what is included: how many points are checked, whether there are photos and a report, what happens when a problem is found, whether repair time is included, and who actually turns up at the house. They sell a visit, we sell a visit plus working time. The 24 h of repair a year on Serenity are not 24 h bought from a tradesman, they are 24 h no tradesman would have done, because none of them travels for 20 minutes.
And there is the delay, which no price shows. Elsewhere, the person who sees the problem is not the person who repairs it: you get a photo, then you look for a tradesman from 1,800 km away, in Spanish, and for someone to let him in. Here it is the same visit. The problem is seen, the small repair is done on the spot, and the report goes out that evening with the time on it.
Going further: the precautions some insurance contracts require
Some contracts set out specific precautions when a home stays unoccupied for a long time. We opened 17 home insurance contracts sold in Spain. None of them requires a periodic inspection, and we write that even though the opposite would suit us. What 7 of them do require is an action, within a deadline. Every contract is different, and the terms of yours are the only ones that count.

The last line is the one that puts a figure on the difference. With Ibex and HDI, 60 consecutive days without anyone you have entrusted with a key calling in, and the house contractually becomes unoccupied. A visit every 8 weeks is 56 days: 4 days of margin on paper. A visit every month resets the counter 30 days before the deadline.
And the action only counts if it can be proved. Articles 11 and 12 of law 50/1980 reduce the indemnity pro rata when an increase in risk has not been declared, and release the insurer entirely in case of bad faith. In front of a loss adjuster, a closed stopcock with no dated photograph is worth nothing. That is what the report sent the same evening is for.
If all you want is someone holding your key, buy key holding: it is cheaper, and it is enough. If you want to be able to prove what was done and when, compare what is included, not the published price.

Can I stop whenever I want?
Yes, in 2 ways. Within the 14 calendar days following signature you can withdraw without reason or penalty, with a simple message: it is a right, and the model form comes with the contract. After that, the contract is monthly, cancellable with 30 days notice by a simple message. No penalty, no minimum term, no automatic 12 month renewal. We would rather you stayed because the service is useful to you.
Are the published prices the final prices?
Yes. They include tax, with 21% IVA, and cover the number of visits and the labour hours stated. Any work outside the package is quoted in writing and you approve it before anything starts. No invoice is ever issued without your prior agreement.
How do I pay from abroad, do I need a Spanish account?
No. SEPA direct debit from your Dutch, Belgian, British or French account, or a monthly transfer, your choice. Spanish invoice with 21% IVA included, emailed on the 1st of the month. No deposit, no set up fee, no card stored. You stop with a simple message and 30 days notice.
